LEARN ABOUT US
Committed to Excellence
Just as we are all a work in progress, the seasons of Nature allow children to discover their own rhythm of learning within an ever-changing classroom without walls.
Situated in 3/4 acre private woodland, Tiny Tribe Outdoors welcomes schools and groups of children to enjoy, play, create and learn. With experienced and well qualified staff, we offer a range of site development consultancy, play sessions and therapeutic services to our local community, as well as CPD and professional training to the Early Years and education workforce.
By learning to love outdoors, children will develop understanding of the natural world around them. Most importantly, they will want and know how to look after it as adults because they know it's worth to their own wellbeing and happiness. Nature's playground offer opportunities for children to develop holistically - physically, emotionally and socially - through exploration of it, engagement with it and plenty of time to be there.
OUR VALUES
At Tiny Tribe Outdoors, we believe that children learn best when they are motivated by real life hands-on experiences that matter to them. We respect and understand that each of them has individual wants and needs. We offer new skills, new friends and a new perspective of the natural world around them. In the age of intense technology, we bring opportunities to engage their bodies, minds and hands in a truly learner-led environment.
Outdoor play for learning, learning to play outdoors.
STAFF
Staff at Tiny Tribe have a wide range of experience in child development and care behind them. With over 80 years of nature-based experience, our talented team have expertise in well-being, social and emotional development, positive behaviour modelling, play and outdoor practice and skills. Most importantly, our multi-talented and well qualified Tiny Tribe team share a committed belief in the virtues of children (and their adults) being regularly exposed to nature, for their health, mental health and future well-being, for them to experience authentic success in pursuits they have chosen and be respected as autonomous, self determining learners.
Every member of the Tiny Tribe Outdoors team is a passionate believer in the significance of childhood and of the links between wellbeing and the love of learning, and the need to protect both Nature and Play for our children. We have a deep understanding of how children learn and develop, and seek to offer opportunities to help them reach their potential and be the best version of themselves - rounded, grounded and happy.
